The USA has not only lost most of the respect that the world had for the country but you have also lost your influence because of George Bush and the Republicans. The world wants Obama, so why don’t you elect him so we can build the bridges that Bush and the neo cons burned down years ago.

NO nation gives respect to a nation that is successfully competing with it or otherwise blocking their interests.
We don’t get complimented on any of the good things we do. We never will. It will always be “How come you aren’t doing more!”
That’s the way nations work, and appeasement is just silly.
Regain respect? Wrong, we’ll lose it. Like the child who gives up their lunch money, we will be victimized again and again because we will have shown how easy a mark we are.

Why do thousands of people come here to live every day instead of staying overseas. We have had no more terrorist attacks in the USA because of President Bush and the Republicans. You want Obama and you are not the world. thank goodness.
Anti-Americanism overseas is nothing new and has nothing to do with Bush. Maybe the hatred is more intense now, but it’s always there. However, I did read about the billions of dollars Obama wants to send overseas. You guys are as greedy as the pigs on Wall Street.
You need to understand that you don’t make decisions about your country based on blackmail for love from other countries.
The people of other countries must not care much about their relationship with us because they spew hatred constantly.

Really, there is too much for the world to gain to see America become a weaker state. Most of us don’t give a sh!t what the world thinks, and while we are in a sh!tty situation right now, international opinion in no way influences my vote.
